HLAC - Lifelong Wellness Application Paper
1. What did you learn about “lifelong wellness” from taking this activity class?
I learned that physical activity is a very important part of life and I should always keep it as part of my routine, it helps me be fit, healthy, and happy. Physical activity helps to reduce tensions and stress, so it could be used as an enjoyable therapy. I think the best part is that I learned that I really enjoy playing volleyball.
2. How would you apply this information to your life?
I definitely maintain physical activity as part of my routine and I will take more classes or I will be joining more groups that help me to maintain activity and happiness.
3. What is your intention to continue to exercise in your life and why?
I will continue to find people that want to play volleyball with me, I would love to find a team to become part of big events, I’ll continue practicing and getting better to be accepted by the SLCC team.
4. General ideas for improving this course?
I think could be nice to have more time in the semester to practice. It would be really nice to keep playing until November or December, so the improvement of my skills would be even better by next semester.
